Patient and Family Rights:

  1. Patient and family rights to access to care if provided by the hospital.
  2. Patient and family rights to know the name of the treating physician, supervising and/ or responsible medical staff member
  3. Patient and family rights to care that respects the patient’s personal values and beliefs.
  4. Patient and family rights to refuse care and discontinue treatment.
  5. Patient and family rights to security, personal privacy, confidentiality and dignity.
  6. Patient and family rights to have pain assessed and treated.
  7. patient and family rights to be informed and participate in decisions making about their care.
  8. Patient and family rights to know the price of services and procedures.
  9. Patient and family rights to seek a second opinion either internally or externally.
  10. Patient has the right to submit a complain via calling 15051 or submit the complains through this website or by sending it to info@shifaegypt.com, and that patient has the right to submit a complain to GAHAR using the following website https://www.gahar.gov.eg/

  4. Patients and their families have the responsibility to show respect to other patients and healthcare professional.
