The Pediatric Orthopedic Department specializes in the repair of many orthopedic deformities in children, including flat feet, tarsal fusion, genu varum, Blount's disease, genu valgus, femoral curvature, spina bifida, and hip dysplasia. The pediatric orthopedic department also treats some nutritional problems in Bones such as rickets, calcium and vitamin D deficiency, and this is of course in addition to what the Pediatric Orthopedic Department does in repairing bone fractures and cracks in children.
